A Crafts Council Touring Exhibition of contemporary jewellery, featuring 98 pieces of
studio jewellery by the most significant European makers from the last 5 decades. The
exhibition features portable art, wearable objects and jewellery including work by
Susanna Heron, one of the first jewellers to use Perspex in the early 70’s.

East Ayrshire Leisure is delighted to host the return of the annual exhibition that showcases
the work of pupils studying Art and Design at schools across East Ayrshire. As part of their
studies, students work across a range of different artistic techniques including photography, mixed
media and sculpture.

East Ayrshire Leisure is delighted to host the East Ayrshire region artists’ launch event for Open Studios
Ayrshire 2017, and welcomes everyone to this special event. Annually, local artists open their studios to give
people access to their creative process, demonstrating techniques and offering their original artworks for
sale. This launch event is an opportunity for the artists to engage with and offer free workshops to the public.
